About
AI is the tool. The expertise is the product.
Cloud Construction is a Salesforce consulting firm based in San Diego. We've been building on Salesforce since 2013 and have been an official Salesforce partner since 2019. We work mostly with small and mid-sized companies that already run Salesforce and want it to do more, taking their org to the next phase with governed AI, custom development, and integrations. If you're newer to Salesforce, we'll do the buildout too.
We're a small, senior team, and we keep it that way on purpose. You work directly with the person building your org, not a junior, and not a handoff to a delivery team after the sale. We've spent years deep in Salesforce and in AI development ourselves, which is exactly why we know where it breaks and what's actually worth building. We take on a handful of clients at a time, so the people you talk to are the people doing the work.
On paper, we hold Salesforce's Application Architect and System Architect credentials, the domain-architect tier, on top of certifications across Agentforce, Data Cloud, Service Cloud, the core platform, and more. The certs are table stakes. The judgment is the part you're hiring.
We're a customer-service-first shop, and all of it is done in-house in the US. We don't offshore. You get a direct line to the people who actually built your org. You're never chasing us, and you're never re-explaining your setup to someone new.
Our view is simple. AI is the tool, expertise is the product. AI collapsed the cost of building software. It did not collapse the cost of owning it, the judgment that keeps a live org safe, or the creativity to know which features actually matter. AI will build whatever you point it at. Deciding what's worth building is the job. We sit at the seam between deterministic systems of record and probabilistic AI, and we subordinate the AI to the system instead of bolting it on.
If you're considering Salesforce and the implementation is the scary part, that's where we're most useful. We'll sit with you and answer the hard questions straight. What happens to your data, whether your team will actually use it, how long it really takes. Then we turn the unknowns into a plan you can act on. We won't oversell the timeline. Client-side things move, and a date we can't keep helps no one.
When AI lives in your org on your key and your data, you own the trust boundary. We hand every client a documented, sound, understood data posture, because most teams don't know to ask for it. That protects you, and it's how we think.
If you're nervous about the implementation
We make the scary parts boring
Most of what stalls a Salesforce decision isn't the software. It's three honest worries. Here's how we take each one off the table.
“What happens to our data?”
We assess your current data model on the call, map it to Salesforce objects, and present a concrete migration approach. Fear becomes a roadmap.
“Our team won't adopt it.”
Onboarding is designed into the build from day one, around how your team actually works. Skepticism becomes confidence.
“This will take too long.”
You get a detailed, realistic project plan you can build a business case around. Uncertainty becomes clarity, without us promising a date we can't control.
How we handle dates: we'll commit to when you can start testing the system, since that part is in our hands. We won't promise a firm go-live, because training, data migrations from your other systems, and the cutover depend on factors outside our control.

Built through every era
We didn't show up for the AI part
We've been building on Salesforce since it looked nothing like it does today. The platform has overhauled its whole front end more than once, and we've built through all of it, so we know what's durable and what's a fad.
Classic + Visualforce
When custom UI meant Visualforce pages, that's what we built.
Lightning + Aura
The Lightning rewrite and Aura components. We moved the moment it landed.
The acquisitions
As Salesforce absorbed new clouds and tools, we built across them.
LWC + Experience Cloud
Modern Lightning Web Components and customer-facing portals.
Agentforce + AI
Governed AI and agents. Where the work is now, and what we lead with.
Think we might be a fit?
Tell us what you're trying to do. If we're the right team for it, we'll say so. And if we're not, we'll tell you that too. No commitment, no jargon.
